The service
Route to C gives landlords an estimated plan for improving a rented home's energy rating to EPC band C. Plans are based on the answers you give and typical UK costs.
What it is not
A Route to C plan is not an Energy Performance Certificate, a survey, or financial, legal or professional advice. Only an accredited assessor can issue an EPC. Scores, costs and grant information are estimates, and the rules may change before 2030. Check current guidance on GOV.UK and get quotes before committing to work.
Payment and refunds
Plans are a one-off payment, taken by Stripe. Multi-home plans let you add the stated number of properties to your account. If you're not happy with your plan, email [support email] within 14 days of paying for a full refund.
Your account
Your dashboard stays available until at least 31 December 2030. Keep access to your email account, as that's how you sign in.
Liability
We take care to keep plans accurate, but we're not responsible for decisions you make based on an estimate, or for the work, quotes or results of any installer or assessor. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Contact and law
Route to C is run by [your full name / company name], [address]. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
